Custom e-Learning Course: “UMTS for “Newbies”, or What 3G for non-Technical Specialists Is”

«UMTS for “newbies”, or what 3G for non-technical specialists is» – is the elearning course on the UMTS network for Vodafone Ukraine.
In order to help employees of non-technical specializations of the company understand the intricacies of 3G technology, we used several special features in the development of the course:

• involved a popular scientist character – Iron Man – who travels with a user from one section to another;
• provided a visual effect of the flight from one slide to another, reflecting the interrelation between the “elevation” and the level of mobile technology development;
• applied interactive objects and exercises to demonstrate the chain of technical patterns using simple examples;
• complex schemes and algorithms have been illustrated in such a way that their logic is transparent even for those who do not know anything about base stations, frequencies and transmitters.

The structure of the elearning course includes a block of test tasks. Having passed the tests, each participant can determine the level of success of training and repeat the work on any sections, if necessary.
